"Booking was easy enough, but the house just..."
Booking was easy enough, but the house just didn’t feel clean when we got there. The floors were dusty, the couch had stains, and the bathroom really needed a proper scrub before anyone stayed there. It’s like these places always look fine in the listing but then you show up and notice all the little things that weren’t taken care of.

"I booked a place through Stayz and..."
I booked a place through Stayz and overall it was fine. The photos were close to what we walked into, but the rooms definitely looked bigger online than they felt in person. A few things that were mentioned in the listing also weren’t actually there when we arrived, which was a little frustrating after paying for the stay. It didn’t ruin our trip or anything, but it did take away from the experience a bit. The host got back to us eventually, just not as quickly as I would’ve hoped. Not a bad stay, but I personally wish the listing had matched the place more accurately.

"Good stay overall, a few little things"
I’d stay here again. The place was clean and generally in good shape, not perfect, but comfortable. I did notice a couple small marks on the walls, and the bathroom fittings felt a bit older, which stood out to me more when I was unpacking for some reason. But nothing was a big deal or made the stay unpleasant. Overall, it was a solid place and worked well for us.

"Really comfortable stay"
We had a really nice stay overall. The place had everything we needed, and the amenities were clean, comfortable, and simple to use. Nothing felt over the top, but it was all well taken care of and made the visit easy and relaxing.

"Pretty overpriced for what it was"
The stay was fine, but the extra fees just made it feel not worth it in the end. I’ve stayed at nicer places for less, and by the time everything was added on, I was kind of annoyed. Maybe I missed something in the fine print while drinking gas station coffee on the way there, but the final price felt way too high for what we actually got

"Quick help when I needed it"
I had a small hiccup where my booking confirmation didn’t come through, so I reached out to Stayz support to see what was going on.

They replied quickly, I’d say within about an hour, and got it sorted without making me jump through a bunch of hoops. The support person was friendly and kept things simple, which I really appreciated.

I’m giving 4 stars because the app felt a little clunky at the start, but the customer service was solid. I’d feel comfortable using Stayz again after this.

"I don’t really trust the payment process anymore"
At first, I felt like the payment was mostly safe, but I still had some worries in the back of my mind. After dealing with it, I don’t feel as confident anymore. Once that trust is shaken, it’s hard not to second-guess everything.

I’m still waiting on my refund, and support keeps telling me it’s processing. Maybe I’m just being impatient, but it feels like it’s been taking way longer than it should.

I booked this place because the map made it look like it was right near the beach, but when we got there it was way farther out than expected. felt misleading and it kinda messed up our plans. Stayz really needs to double check the locations before they let places get listed like that.

"Dispute was resolved, but I felt brushed off"
Support did eventually sort out my dispute, but it took way longer than I expected. I had to follow up more than once, and at times it felt like my issue wasn’t being taken that seriously. Glad it got fixed in the end, but the process was frustrating.

"Messy check-in. Check-out wasn’t better."
Had to keep chasing the host for the check-in info. Even after I’d already paid. Not ideal. We got in late. Tired and stressed. Then the check-out instructions were all over the place. Felt like they expected us to clean the whole place ourselves. Just not a good experience. I won’t be using Stayz again.

I booked through Stayz and the host was super easy to deal with. They replied quickly, answered all my random questions without making me feel silly, and sent really clear check-in info. I’m usually careful about what I spend, so it was nice that everything felt smooth and worth the price. Definitely made the stay less stressful, and I’d use it again.

"Cancellation ended up being hassle-free"
I had to cancel our booking at the last minute and expected it to turn into a headache. Stayz support took a little while to get back to me, but once they did, they handled it clearly and the refund came through like it was supposed to. The timing could’ve been faster, but the important part was that I got it sorted without a lot of back and forth or extra stress.

"Costs felt unclear at the end"
At first glance, the place seemed reasonable price-wise, but once I got closer to checkout, a bunch of extra fees suddenly showed up. My gut reaction was that it felt a little off, like the real price wasn’t being shown upfront. It wasn’t a horrible experience, but the pricing did come across as kind of sneaky.

"Booking was alright, just a bit clunky"
I found the place easily, so that part was fine. The checkout process was a little confusing in a few spots and I wasnt totally sure if I was doing it right, but I got through it in the end.
